Craft update

Here is the finished product of my craft.
I added the pink grass to go with the
nest theme of the shower- and
the baby girl theme.
I think it turned out ok and only cost
$4 to make.

Mile High Music!

We got tickets to the Mile High Music Festival this summer! Yeah! Now we have something to look forward to. I am getting ready for summer to be here to work out in the yard, bbq, wear dresses, hike with the pup, backyard parties, and outdoor concerts.

Baby Shower

Next month I am throwing a baby shower for one of my BFF's. I am thinking of doing
a baby bird theme. Here are some ideas for that. Since Easter is next weekend I can wait for Easter decor and goodies to go on sale for the shower. I am thinking of doing finger foods and these nest cookies. The favors could be these cute little nests with jordan almonds or chocolate eggs. And for decoration I can paint bird houses.


























I am also going to give this craft a try, I bought the parfait glasses from Goodwill today for $1

Bringing back the bus

Husband and I have decided that it is time that VW made a bus for our generation. We have visions of a modern vintage bus. On weekends we will load up the kiddos and take off for the Grand Canyon, New Mexico and Moab. Oh the fun we will have in the bus.
So VW makers if you are reading my blog please please bring back the bus! We will take ours in a mint green :-)

My next DIY project.

New glasses

Here are pictures of my new glasses! Let's see, it has been 6-7 years since I got glasses last. Needless to say these were long overdue. I am hoping to one day have Lasik eye surgery done. While I am saving up and waiting for the right time these cuties will give my poor eyes a break from daily contacts. Of course I had to go with the Kate Spades, because I have to still be fashionable. Maybe David won't be able to call me Milhouse in these suckers.

Decorating...

I am constantly thinking about how I would like to re-decorate our home. So here are some things on my wish list. First would be a great sectional. Since both David and I are tall we find it hard to lay comfortably with each other. I *heart* this sectional from Macy's
